Retiring from full-time employment in Aug. of 1998, Bob formed Thurgaland Marketing & Consulting to serve clients in a wide variety of categories nationwide, including government, politics, law enforcement, fire and rescue, education, resorts and travel, economic development, manufacturers and suppliers, real estate development, training and instructional, medical and the media. Plus, a special focus is placed on the vast array of not-for-profit organizations that serve their respective markets. Todd Thurgaland

Todd Thurgaland keeps his skills polished by keeping a foot in the freelance world.  He is often called upon by outside production companies to "cover a gig".  Sometimes that means living on a tour bus and traveling up the east coast shooting rock concerts in HDTV for air on HDNET, other times Todd is on the beaches of The Bahamas shooting Calendar Girls for iNdemand Pay-Per-View.  Todd spent 11 days in the mountains of Montana, Wyoming, and Utah shooting a fly fishing documentary for May Fly Productions out of Italy.  He also spent 28 days in Greece, visiting 12 island destinations, shooting & producing a travel documentary.  Todd's extensive travel experience makes him a valued member of any production team "on the road".  Todd has shot with the Today Show, CNN News, ANC News, Travel Channel, Golf Channel, FOX Sports, HDNET, and iNdemand. Todd also freelances for numerous production companies across the country.

Todd Thurgaland is a visionary with all the production skills necessary to take any concept from acquisition to air.  Todd is a recognized Producer, Director, Videographer and Editor. His professional experience in the field of broadcast video production has gained him local, national and international credits. 

Shayne Mills

Shayne Mills joined Thurgaland in the fall of 2002. He comes to us with 15 yrs experience in all aspects of the Video & Film Production Business. Shayne is a seasoned on camera talent with 6 yrs as a reporter and anchor for a local Florida television station. Shooting, writing, and editing countless news packages and stories along the way. In an effort to expand his talent in front of the camera, he moved to Hollywood California where he spent 8 yrs pursuing his "acting" career. Shayne Mills Hollywood credits include numerous student films at UCLA, multiple television campaigns & commercials, as well as stand-ins and bit parts in Premium Hollywood movies such as Vanilla Sky w/ Tom Cruise, Penelopy Cruze, and Cameron Diaz. Shayne also has had the honor of working with great Directors like Cameron Crow. With Thurgaland, Shayne is involved in everything...from camera work to editing, acting and writing. Shayne is a great guy to have around, a close friend of the family, and a team player, we are proud to have him with us.

Jon Singley

Jon Singley is a lifelong photographer, he always has his camera and is always looking for “the shot”.  He is an avid nature photographer and outdoorsman who enjoys caving, kayaking, and hiking.  Jon's education and background in commercial art and photography make him a natural in his field and he is much more comfortable in the field than behind a computer monitor.  

His photography credits in recent years include Ocala Magazine, Ocala Homes, the Sheriffs Star, and he is a regular freelance photographer for the Ocala Star Banner, a division of the New York Times.  He is a photojournalist and a commercial photographer with an eye for shooting architecture and natural landscapes.  He just loves what he does and we are proud to have him on our team.  

Paul Prewitt - Under H20 Film & Video

Paul Prewitt has worked with Thurgaland since the beginning. He comes to us with 30 yrs experience producing Film & Video for television and theatrical release. Paul is a creative & seasoned cameraman, freelancing for numerous broadcast events in national and international markets.  From his early years of shooting action H20 sports & surf films around the world, to his recent years of producing infomercials, TV programming and independent documentaries, Paul Prewitt specializes in capturing the action by all means, delivering fantastic shots and angles for any production.  Paul builds his own equipment, mounts and underwater camera housings and is also a professional still photographer, shooting catalogs for companies such as Harley Davidson. Jodell Thurgaland

Another asset to the Thurgaland crew is Jodell Thurgaland.  Since the company’s beginning she’s helped both Bob and Todd as a production assistant and office manager.  As a recent MBA graduate from Saint Leo University, specializing in accounting, she can now be found behind the scenes doing administrative and accounting work.

Proficient in editing and graphic design she is often called upon to offer her skills in the production department. She is also our webdesigner. Jodell has designed websites for a variety of clients for over 8 years.
