This is our latest and greatest recruiting video. Produced in 2006 and distributed across the country in an effort to attract experienced officers to Brevard County, Florida. It's a big decision to make and this video does a great job of selling more than just the career. It's the destination and the location, Brevard County Florida!
This is also a unique production for us because it incorporates 14 law enforcement agencies, all of Brevard County, 13 Police Departments and The County Sheriffs Office. And, as you will see, they are all equally represented with a strong focus on cultural diversity and equal opportunity employment. It's all reflected in the people and the faces of this testimonial driven video.....the people tell the story and the employees sell thier job.

Recruiting Video For All Audiences
This was one of our greatest projects ever!! PBSO has more than 3,000 employees and an annual budget of more than 300 Million per year. With an agency this size, recruitment is always a priority, so they hired Thurgaland to produce the best recruiting video possible. During production we accumulated more than 15 hrs of raw footage, documenting every single division and unit within the agency. From this library of raw footage we produced a 30 min. "Behind The Scenes" television show, which aired on local cable, and was cut down to a shorter "speaker tape" as a presentation video for public speaking engagements. But it was the recruiting video which got the most attention....it's first class...enjoy!

We are very proud of our involvement with the Sheriffs of Florida and The Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA). Among the many projects we have been involved in over the years, in 2002 we produced a membership drive video campaign. This included a 30 minute TV program which aired state-wide on the Sunshine Network. This campaign included a number of PSAs featuring Jeb Bush, which you can view in the streaming video windows above. The Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA), and the 67 Sheriffs of Florida, also oversee the operation of The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches (FSYR) for whom we have also produced numerous video productions over the last decade.

Street Gang Awareness Video
The Collier County Sheriffs Office needed to educate it's citizens on the ever increasing presence of gang activity in Collier County. This documentary style "awareness video" is designed to educate it's audience on the role that gangs play in modern society and how to recognize the signs and symbols of "gang bangers" in your area. Much of this video was shot during an undercover sting operation with the Collier County Sheriffs office and Department of Immunization and Naturalization Services (INS). This entire video is real and was shot on the streets of Collier County.

Law Enforcement & Prosecution Training Video
The Department of Health (DOH), Division of Medical Quality Assurance (MQA), needed a training video for Law Enforcement and State Prosecutors. This video needed to explain to local law enforcement what unlicensed medical activity is all about and how to recognize it in their community. And, more importantly, how to liaison with the Department of Health in prosecuting these hazards to our public safety. Since Thurgaland specializes in telling the law enforcement story, they hired us to produce this informative video.
The Florida Department of Health is just one of many regulatory agencies that we are proud to serve. This video was distributed to every law enforcement agency and state prosecutor in the State of Florida.

Educational Video for Massage Students in Florida Florida State Massage Therapy Association Awareness Video
The Department of Health (DOH), which oversees the Florida Board of Massage Therapy that regulates Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) in the state of Florida, needed a educational training video for all aspiring LMTs. This video was distributed to every massage therapy school in the state to be used as a tool for new students, and newly licensed therapists. The goal of this video was to help students to fully understand rules and regulations in the state of Florida, that regulate the Massage Industry. There was a heavy focus on the rules, regulations, and legal responsibilities that all LMTs need to be aware of, and follow, if they are to practice massage therapy legally in the state of Florida.
This story is told through the sound bites, featuring many leaders of the massage therapy industry in Florida: State Legislators, Members of the Board, Association Presidents, Massage School owners & Instructors, Establishment & Spa owners, practicing LMTs, and students, all contribute important words of wisdom in this testimonial driven video production.

Through a strong lobbying effort, the FSMTA keeps their membership informed on the issues in state government that effect their right to practice....ensuring and protecting the Licensed Massage Therapists scope of practice in the State of Florida.

Cable television?s extremely low Advertising and Leased Access Programming Rates offered the most cost-effective media reaching retiring Americans. Consequently, 30-second Television Commercials and 30-minute Television Infomercials were produced to run throughout the U.S. and Florida that tells their exciting story in-depth. A family-owned business since 1947, The Colen family has been developing retirement homes longer than any other Florida builder. Their latest community development ? The Colonnades ? Bonnie Heath Farm is the home of the 1956 Kentucky Derby winner, Needles. Their farm has been instrumental in developing the Florida Horse Industry into national prominence. After more than 50 years, Bonnie Heath Farm still carries a strong presence in Ocala's most important industry; horses. We have enjoyed working with Bonnie Heath III, and over the years have produced numerous promotional videos for his champion horses, including behind the scenes coverage of their triple crown winner, Honor Glide, running in the Breeders Cup. The videos featured above promote the stud services of 2 of their champion thoroughbreds, Honor Glide and Kalu.

Music Live! is a live entertainment company based out of Orlando, Florida, headed by Maestro Bill Doherty. Thurgaland has been working with Maestro Doherty for 15 years, with what was then known as The Central Florida Lyric Opera. Over the years Maestro Doherty has grown his company and talent base, providing Central Florida with the best in live variety entertainment shows and Thurgaland has been there all along the way to video archive their performances for future promotional edits. We have produced demo sales videos for Music Live covering a variety of themes: Dinner Shows, Off Broadway Shows, Spirit of America Patriotic Show, Three Tenors Plus One, The Musical Idol Show, and Piano Maestro Show. Blessed Trinity Church of Ocala, is one of few "Stewardship" run churches within the diocese of Orlando. Stewardship is a philosophy of giving back to the church family, through time, talent and treasure. As a member of Trinity Catholic we are proud to give of our time and talent to the church, and as a result Thurgaland produced a video for Blessed Trinity which went on to get "honorable mention" (2nd Place), at the International Catholic Stewardship Conference. In 2003 we did it again, and this time we won 1st place at the conference: an international video competition for the entire global catholic church, stewardship category. It was quite an honor and we are very proud to be able to represent our local church and it's inspiring spirit of giving through stewardship. The video we have featured here is the first one we did, which got honorable mention. This is our favorite because it features the voice talent of our Grand Matriarch....Muriel Ellen Thurgaland, recorded when was 93 yrs old. This video also features a few other Thurgaland voices that are rarely heard. Enjoy!
