Perfect pictures and perfect sound in top quality. That's because we offer the latest digital technology. Thurgaland uses only the best in acquisition and production equipment. We own and operate two cameras: a Sony D30 DVCAM and a Sony 300 DVCAM. Both cameras have an upgraded 18x9 enhanced lens with internal focus.
With two broadcast quality Sony Cameras Thurgaland can do a "live" 2-camera shoot OR be in two places at the same time. There’s more. The key to good pictures is in the glass. That’s why we shoot with a $10,000 lens!
Two Digital Non Linear Editing Systems
Our state-of-the-art Editing Systems are fast, powerful, and reliable with many exciting new features to enhance any video production. In addition, your project and entire "edited video" will be mastered on "removable hard drive bays" and stored on our library shelf, ready for any future revisions or re-edits. What does this mean? Better product, easy changes, and a faster turnaround.

Final Delivery
We master our final productions on any format, from professional broadcast quality Sony DVCAM and Beta-SP, to DVD, auto-launch CD-ROM, streaming web video, and traditional VHS.
We provide custom menu driven DVD creation and authoring with complex motion menus and professional labels and packaging. Our DVDs are Limited Collectors Editions for use in computers and set-top DVD players. We can also mastered on inexpensive CD-ROMs that "auto-launch" when inserted into any computer. Our disks are digitally mastered in the universal MPEG1 & MPEG2 video codec, for use in any computer anywhere.
Production Stills
High Resolution Digital Still Photography: Canon Digital Rebel (6.2 megapixel)
We can shadow our video production crew with a digital still photographer, acquiring hundreds and thousands of high resolution still photographs to be used in all your marketing efforts; print material, literature, brochures, and even your website. And all the photographs will match the video ... so your marketing efforts consistently reinforce each other and portray the same image.
These 6.2 mega-pixel pictures can be blown up to poster size!!
On Location Mobile Production
Thurgaland travels in a 35 ft. self-contained RV. This serves as our mobile production office while on-location. Complete with video and audio editing capabilities, this state-of-the art mobile HQ has a 50 amp service generator and plenty of room for equipment.
We have a full "FREELANCE CREW" ready to roll, including all grip gear, under H2O video, a car mount, and track dolly!
